How do I perceive education?

Journalist Sydney J. Harris said, “the purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows ‘, loosely translating to with education we can look beyond ourselves and shift our perspective to what is happening in the world,

In the world of education, it seeks to facilitate our ability to create, innovate, and collaborate and is an essential tool that helps direct our lives. Education is one of the most important aspects of life. It is through education that we are able to gain knowledge, skills, and values. It shapes our future, helping us to lead successful, meaningful lives.

When I look at education I think about the different methods and approaches in which we are educated, and how that helps us think differently.  Multiple avenues can be used to acquire knowledge and in my opinion, learning institutions are a fundamental arm of education but are not the only way one can be educated.

From a personal point of view, education is an essential tool to achieve success. It helps us to develop our sense of identity, allowing us to become more independent and better equipped for the future. Education helps us to understand the world around us, becoming more informed citizens who are able to make wise decisions in life. I believe education should foster creativity and critical thinking, enabling us to become more innovative and aware of our environment.

Additionally, education provides us with the opportunity to explore our passions and to discover our hidden talents. To find alignment and connection with our natural abilities, helping us to understand ourselves better. Education is not just about transmitting facts and formulas, it is also about showing us how to use our knowledge to solve real-world problems.

To conclude, I believe education should be seen as the driver towards global citizenship and the great life opportunities it offers. Education grants us the chance to expand our horizon, to learn more and to explore our vast potential.

Education is perspective, my perspective may be different from yours, that is why I’d like to open the journey to share how I made the most of my experience and how I used all mediums of education to guide my work.
